Show 5174 F. Bennett- D 3186 A Twelve. Q What became of that boat? A That boat sunk at Tickaboo; I left it up there; I got the engine out of it, took my engine out, and left it the high water. I took my engine out; the boat stayed up there on the side of the bank, and when the water went down of course it dried out and the cracks opened. When the river came up again it filled, and slid off in the water, into about fifteen feet of water, and I never was able to get it out. Filled with mud during the high water. I never was able to raise it. Q When was the next time you put a motor boat in operation on the river? A I built a motor boat in Greenriver, Utah, I think it was the next season, -- I am not sure of my dates, you know, because it is along time; I had no occasion, really, to remember those things. Q Approximately what year? A I should say approximately it would be in 1906, or something of that kind, perhaps a little bit later than that. Q You built the boat yourself?
