Show 5159 3171 FRANK BENNETT, a witness of lawful age, called by and on behalf of the complainant, having been first duly sworn according to law by the Special Master, was examined and testified as follows: DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name to the court, please? A Frank Bennett. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Won't you try to keep your voice up? It is almost impossible for me to hear the witnesses. I don't know whether counsel hear them. THE WITNESS: I will do the best I can. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Do the best you can. It is a very difficult room to hear in. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Mr. Bennett, how old a man are you? A I am sixty- four years old. Q Where is your present residence? A Lund, Utah, is my post office. Q What is your present occupation? A I am superintending mining property. Q Generally, since you have been a grown man, what has been your occupation? A Mining; principally mining. |
