Q Wayne county, Utah? A Yes, from the time I was ten or twelve years old, something like that. Q Where is Wayne county? A It is the southeastern part of the state, I guess they call it. Q At what town did you live? A I lived at Loa and Teasdale -- Q How old a man are you? A I was worn in 1873; fifty- six. Q Generally since you have been grown what has been your occupation? A I have been in the mining game stock raising, like of that. Mostly mining. Q Ever been on the Colorado river? A Yes sir. Q At what point have you been on the Colorado river? A I have been from where the Green and Grand come together to Lees Ferry. Q When did you first go on the Colorado river? |
