A Oh, shortly before sundown; as I remember it, the sun was getting very low. Q Do you have a recollection of the sun getting very low? A It was late in the afternoon. Q And how long after sunrise was it when you started? A Oh, it was seven or eight o'clock before we got away, I suppose. Q You didn't keep any note of that, did you? A What? Q It was daylight when you left, and daylight when you arrived? A Daylight when we left, and daylight when we arrived. Q You left some time the forenoon, and arrived some time in the afternoon, that's all you remember, isn't it? A Early in the morning; got there late in the afternoon.
