A I don't just remember, -- eight or ten days. Q And then where did you go? A Mr. Spencer and Mr. Parkins met us at Marysvale, made up a pack trip, went from there to Paris. Q Then where did you go from Paris? A The Englishmen and Mr. Parkins and Spencer went to Warm creek; I went overland to Lees Ferry with the pack outfit. Q You did what? A I went overland, went over the trail to Lees Ferry. Q What were these Englishmen doing with you? A They went down to the boat, looking that boat over. Q About that time did you make a trip up into the San Juan country? A No sir; I was on the San Juan before that time. Q Before that time. MR. FARNSWORTH: A little louder.
