Q Do you recall how long it took to make trip up to Warm creek? A About two days, as I remember it. Q Did you use this log chain going up? A No sir. We done well to get back with the boat, without dragging the chain. Q After you got back to Warm creek, then you made another trip down to Lees Ferry? A Yes sir. Q Did you carry and cargo on that trip? A About five tons of coal. Q Was that on the Spencer, or on the barge? A On the Spencer. Q Do you recall how long it took you to make that trip down? A We made that trip in a day, I think. Q Did you use the log chain on that trip? A Yes sir.
