ARISTOTE recommande la decoration , et, a la verite, les productions importantes la reclament imperieusement. Pour etre complete , line representation theatrale exige des decorations, un orchestre, des costumes; car, quelque belle que soit la declamation, quelque delicieux que soit le chant, ils ont l'un et l'autre besoin de ces illusions puissantes. Cette pompe theatrale est egalement indispensable dans les pieces de la fable ou du genre heroique.
