Les autres, par raport aux beaux-arts, ne sont que des barbares ou des enfans, malgre leur antiquite et tout ce que la nature a fait pour cux. Les arts sont lies ensemble par une seule et m e m e chaine : la poesic, la musique, la peinture et la danse, ont une grande affinite l'une pour l'autre, et les jouissances qu'elles nous donnent meri-tent egalement notrc hommage et notre reconnaissance; combien on doit envier les ames qui pcuvent sentir les plaisirs qu'elles inspirent!
