Testimony given before special master Charles Warren in a suit brought by the United States against the state of Utah over ownership of the bed of the Colorado River. Much of the testimony was given by river runners, scientists and engineers, petroleum geologists, and placer miners. The testimony constitutes an extensive oral history of the men and women who utilized the Colorado River Basin in Utah prior to 1929. |

( R . 2719 . ) He has no personal knowledge of what caused the delay after he left the boat . ( R . 2720 . ) When ( he lie ) was on the San Juan River at the mouth of Nokai Canyon he ( doesn't doesnt ) believe he saw anyone with the boat during the three or four days he ( was -was was ) there . He recalls getting into it to see if it was a very stable boat .
