Testimony given before special master Charles Warren in a suit brought by the United States against the state of Utah over ownership of the bed of the Colorado River. Much of the testimony was given by river runners, scientists and engineers, petroleum geologists, and placer miners. The testimony constitutes an extensive oral history of the men and women who utilized the Colorado River Basin in Utah prior to 1929. |

Exh . 222 ) is the cable . That ferryboat was there * in operation when he arrived there . ( R . 1974- 1975 ) A great many pictures were taken of the stream down through Glen and Stillwater Canyons [ on the Colorado and Green Rivers ] , but after the ( were -were were ) returned to Denver they were not developed and the negatives stayed there for about twelve years . They had been opened , some had been exposed to the light , and about three hundred of them had been ruined . Just a few were picked out at different points to see what they looked like .
