On the way down from Greenriver to the head of Cataract Canyon he made camp four times ; it took about five days to make the trip . . ( Doesn't Doesnt ) remember the time he left Greenriver nor where they camped the first night ; ( doesn't doesnt ) believe they were down below the San ( Eafael Rafael ) the first day . He ( doesn't doesnt ) have any recollection of where they camped the second day . ( R . 1501 . ) Camped on the left side of the river on a big bar . That was about half way between Green River , Utah , and the junction . ( R . 1502 . ) This was about the third night out of Greenriver . The only ( recollec- recollec ) tion he has about it is the distance concerned . He believes it took three days to go from there [ the last camping place on the bar ] to the head of Cataract Canyon . . The ( dis- dis ) tance from Greenriver , Utah , to the mouth of the Green River is approximately one hundred and ( twe-nty twenty ) miles as we had it figured out then .
