He also freighted supplies down to the placer ( mine inine ) below Goodrich on the San Juan River . He believes the ( placer phicer ) mines are about twenty miles up the river from the mouth of the San Juan River but had never been down to the mouth of the San Juan River . He has freighted down Moonlight Canyon to Nokai and to about three miles the other side of Nokai where the mines were .
