Show ( her bear ) 22 1924 . The cross ( 80 so ) section and the elevation of the bottom of the river at that time is indicated by a line , which is indicated No . 1 , November , 1924 . The second measurement ( of olf ) that series plotted on this sheet ( was -was was ) made September 11 , 1925 , and is shown on the ( cross-section crosssection ) as a line dated ( Septem Septem- Septem ) ¬ ber , 1925 . It ( will -will will ) be noted that at Station 250 , the lines for these two cross sections indicate that at Station 250 feet from the ( right Tight ) bank , that ( particu particu- particu ) lar portion of the river bed was the same ; at ( sta- sta ) tion 200 , the measurement made in ( September Septeniber ) , 1925 , was approximately a foot and ( four-tenths fourtenths ) above the bed of the river , as shown by the ( meas meas- meas ) urement made in 1924 ( , I ) ( indicating indicating- indicating ) at station 200 a I fill of 1.4 feet . Going to the section of the river lying to the right of 250 station , between 250 and 500Y the ( cross-sections crosssections ) indicate a scour throughout ( with -with with ) a maximum of about three feet at station 375 . Taking another typical example , the change in the ( cross-section crosssection ) shown between May 12 , 1926 , and May 30 , 1926 , these tables indicate a scour ( through through- through ) ¬ out maintained to an average of about ( approxi approxi- approxi ) mately seven ( feet-a feeta ) scour ( throughout througrhout ) the greater portion of the bed of the river . The maximum change in the bed of the river , as shown by these measurements , is between ( measure measure- measure ) ment made November , 1924 , and July , 1927 , which at station 480 , amounts to approximately 17 feet of scour in the bottom of the river .
