Show knows personally nothing ( 398 39S ) about ( the flie ) Midwest ( Re- Re ) fining Company being a defendant in a suit ( insti instiz- instiz ) tuted in the local federal court in Utah by the State of Utah and the Texas Oil ( Company Coinpany ) . ( R . ( 1368 136S ) . ) He knew where the permits his company were interested in were located ( and a-nd and ) some of them extended into and under the bed of the Colorado River . They were permits issued by the United States . He has a permit in his own name that includes a portion of the bed of the Colorado River . ( R . 1369 . ) This permit is north of Indian Creek farther up the stream [ Colorado River ] . On the trip he took over to the wells on ( Indian Inclian ) Creek and then down Indian Creek to the Colorado River , he . arranged in advance to have the Moab boat meet ( him 'him him ) at the river and take him back to Moab . ( R . 1370 . ) They gave them a great latitude in time . That ( was N7as ) because he felt very uncertain as to just ( when -when when ) they would be able to make it there . ( R . 1370-1371 . ) Neither Mr . Coffin or he had ever been between ( this -this this ) location of Indian Creek and the Colorado River , in the first place . In the second place , it meant practically a ( day's days ) ride from Indian Creek ( -to to ) the closest place they could have their car . And third , went from Indian Creek down to this structure where he put up the sign , the stake , went from there before returning or attempting to * ( re- re ) turn by the river . ( R . 1371 . ) The boat that met him at the point was the 16- foot Ford motored boat and they ( went Nvent ) on ( down- down ) |
