Exh 50 . 79 , is a compilation of over 30,000 daily observations at gauging stations on Colorado , Green , and San ( Jnan Juan ) Rivers ; it shows by dot and ( dasli dash ) the daily deficiency curve based on all data collected by Geological Survey at the Cisco Station on the ( Colorado Colo-rado Colorado ) River ; it shows extreme low water October flow is about 2,000 ( second-feet secondfeet ) ; ( extreme extreine ) high October flow is 14,000 ( second-feet secondfeet ) . On the average , in October , the flow ( has bas ) been 5 ( daysy days ) below 2,500 ( second-feet secondfeet ) ; 5 days between 2,500 and ( 3,500 A500 ) ( second-feet secondfeet ) ( ; - ) 5 days between 3,500 and 4,000 ( second-feet secondfeet secoirld-fect secoirldfect ) ; 5 days between ( 5,000 5,00-0 ) and 14,000 ( second-feet secondfeet ) . ( R . 224-225 . ) He was ( on oil ) the Colorado River between October ( 18 IS ) and October 25 ; flow was , on October 18 , 4,520 sec . ( -ft ft ) . ; October 19 , 4,300 sec . ( -ft ft ) . ; October 20 , 4,090 secAt . ; October 21 , 3,920 sec . ( -ft ft ) . ; October 22 , ( 3,770 37770 ) ( sec see ) . ( -ft ft ) . ; October 23 , 3,650 sec . ( -ft ft ) . ; October 24 , 3,690 sec . ( -ft ft ) . ( R . ( 225 9-25 ) ) ; giving about 3 ft . in the channels around the bends , and in the broad , straight stretches , between the bends , between one and two feet . Between the bends , or at points approaching crossingbar , the depths are ( 1 I ) to 11 2 to 2 ft . in ( chan eban- eban ) nel , at the bars where the boats were stuck . Compl . Exh . 79 gives graphic sketch of conditions of water there . ( R . 224 , 225-226 . ) In 1923 the flow ( generally crenerally ) was equal or less than 4,000 sec . ( -ft ft ) . for a large part of October . At miles 35 and 36 , extremely careful with boats because Mr . Baldwin reported submerged rocks at which at least one ( motor niotor ) boat had been wrecked . |
