On trouve certe plante dans le Canada & la Virginie. W:· ( v. v.) Au rapport de !'Emery, ce capillaire eft ft commun en Amcr,ique , que les Marchands en garniflent leurs marchandifes au-lieu de foin, cruand ils veulent les envoyer dans des pays eloigncs. Cette plante poulfe plufieurs feuilles hautes de cinq a !mit pouces: leur petiole eft lilfe' luir~.nt ' d 'un rouge noiratre , tres - grcle , & divifc en rameaux capillaires qui foutiennent des folioles tres-minces. Ces foliolcs font glabres , en coin i leur bale & arrondies en leur bord f perieur , oi). elles ont des decoupures plus ou moins profondes. La fruCl:ification nait' au fommet de ces dccoupures , dont l'extrcmite la recouvre en !c repl iant en deflous. On trouve cette plante dans les lieux pierreux & humides de l'Europe aufrrale. 7(- .
