Postridie ejus diei mane, tripartito milites equitesque in expeditionem misit, vt eos qui fugerant, persequerentur. Subductis navibus, castrisque egregie munitis, easdem copias, quas ante præsidio navibus relinquit: ipse eodem, vnde redierat, proficiscitur. Eo quum <N=25>venisset, majores vndique in eum locum copiæ Britannorum convenerant. Summa imperii bellique administrandi, communi consilio, permissa est Cassivellauno, cujus fines a maritimis civitatibus flumen dividit quod ap- pellatur 3 Tamesis, a mari circiter millia passuum LXXX.
