Cæsar ad Lingones litteras nun- tiosque misit, ne eos frumento, neve alia re juvarent : qui si juvissent, se eodem loco illos, quo Helvetios, habiturum. Ipse triduo intermisso, <N=XXVII.>cum omnibus copiis eos sequi cœpit.
