Show 3810 Woodbury- RD 1831 REDIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q What sections of the Missouri river were you referring to? THE SPECIAL MASTER: I struck out that, Mr. Blackmar. I said any comparison with the Missouri river would be stricken out. MR. BLACKMAR: I thought I would take it up there, and ask him about this comparison with the Missouri. THE SPECIAL MASTER: I haven't asked him anything about that. I asked him, in view of his whole previous experience, and he went on and mentioned about the Missouri river. I said strike that out. I do not care to compare it with any particular river, as that line of questions has been objected to. BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Mr. Woodbury, were you able as you came down that river to view accurately the river and locate the deep water? A No sir. Many places -- Q Many places what? A There was apparently no deep water, where it spread out. A Has your experience on rivers told you -- generally on a river are you able to locate the deep water by the surface |
