Show 3819 Priest- D 1840 the tributaries of the San Juan river above the dam site: A Yes, although I didn't have any time to investigate all of the tributaries of the San Juan above the dam site. Q Do you know what streams there are above the sam site, say as far up as Farmington, which run the entire year around? A I don't know of any stream up to Farmington, between Bluff and Farmington, that runs all the year around, except possible the Mancos river -- I wouldn't call it a river, I would call it a creek; it is only a very narrow stream; at the time I saw it, was just barely flowing a little water, maybe twenty or thirty second feet. Q Where is that with reference to Farmington? A I would say it is below Farmington approximately between twenty and thirty miles; that is an estimate; I don't know exactly. Q Did you view the Animus river at that time? A I viewed it, yes; I did not make a recognizance on it. Q Did you continue your investigation down the river below the dam site? A On the San Juan? Q Yes. A No, I did not. |
