A In the falling stages, when the river was going down, we used to have to do it then until the river had fallen low enough so these bars was out of the water and dried out so a car could run over them. A What we had to do when the river was on the falling stages, take the boat off of there when there would be deep channels in between the bar, and where the boat was so we couldn't get cars across there, then we would have to take the boat off and follow up the channel and get around these bars and bring it down in deeper water to get the car off of the bank, when the river would fall low enough, fall down -- go below these sandbars so they would dry out, you could fix |
