A Well, the only way I can answer that is that there might be a pinnacle of rock that would stick up out of the river that would be a very noticeable physiographic feature that might be shown, but in the rapids there are so many rocks I don't think they could be shown on the scale of the map. Q Wouldn't that be an excellent reason for showing them, because there were so many? A You can't follow physical impossibilities. Q That map shows, or is designed to show every sandbar on that river that your men upon the ground were able to observe? THE SPECIAL MASTER: That were exposed.
