Show 3808 Woodbury- 1829 MR. FARNSWORTH: I think that is all. MR. BLACKMAR: That is all. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Mr. stenographer, will you read the statement of this witness of his experience? ( The stenographer thereupon read the statement, as follows:) " I was two years on the United States training ship enterprise Cadet, had intensive life boat training; two years after that on merchant ships; spent two years in sailing, and two years in steam ships. " I have an official life boat certificate, second mate's license, unlimited, navigator. " I have made a trip up the Columbia to the Dalles, portaged an eighteen- foot boat across to Fort Benton. Made a trip down the Missouri to St. Louis, then up the Mississippi to Grafton, turning into the Illinois river from there on up to Chicago. That was in 1925 I made that trip.
