Q Do you recall that stretch of the river between Greenriver, Utah, and the mouth of the Green river? A Yes sir. Q How long did it take this expedition to cover that territory? A Eight or nine days; I have notes; I couldn't tell you exactly; around eight or nine days. Q Was there much delay in coming down by reason of taking pictures? A Not very much on the Green; nothing but scenic shots on the Green; we stopped at Double Bowknot for a day and painted our boats. The camera men went to a ridge and took pictures of the boats coming down the stream in line to the landing at Double Bowknot, just at the lower part of it. Q Did that cause much delay in traveling? A No, didn't cause any delay. Q What difficulties, if any, did this expedition en-counter between Greenriver, Utah, and the mouth of the Green river? A There are several sand islands, sand bars, gravel bars, rather, coarse gravel below Greenriver, between there and |
