Show JAN 1 4 and "The Creation" while he was with the Oratario Society. He worked for KSL Radio for fourteen years as an announcer, program director, music director and orchestra leader. He was the assistant director of the Salt Lake Tabernacle Choir for five years. He worked as a conductor in Chicago, Nevada, and San Diego and at the University of Utah, Weber State College, and Utah State University in the music departments. He conducted the Salt Lake Orpheus Club for twenty-five years. He also organized the Schubert Singers, a woman's choir, and he organized the Utah Power and Light Company Showboat Production and conducted the Imperial Glee Club and the Salt Lake Civic Opera Association, He produced pageants for the "Days of 1847". Southwich lived in this house until 1958. In 1959 Alice Cisco bought the house. She lived here and used part of the house as a rest home. It is still a rest home. |
