Show l 4 3980 Farnsworth lived in the house until 1945 It the stood vacant for a year before it was converted into apartments. Albert Toronto took out the building permit to build this house in 1903 The architect was John Alfred Headlund. Headlund is described in Utah Since Statehood as "one of the most successful architects of Utah.^He" settled in Salt Lake in 1891, and worked in partnership with N.E. Liljenberg Some of the other buildings that Headlund designed are the Emanuel Baptist Church, the Dr. Edward D. Woodruff House and many others.
