Show 253 6th Ave JAN l 4 v^y death, the property was inherited by her four surviving children, Thomas L. (1881-1963), Lucile Gillespie, later Hudman (1896-1962), Robert J. (1899-1957) and Sarah Ann Clayton, later Kimball (1892). Sarah A., a dressmaker,and her husband Bertram William Clayton, an osteopath, had lived in this home about 1920-1925 then moved to 279 E. The children maintained this home as rental for a few years then sold it in 1945 to Ping Y. Gin who owned and operated the Coconut Garden Cafe, later the Bamboo Garden Cafe.
