There must be 8 elected directors, of whom 4 are elected for· 2-year terms at each annual meeting. The elected board shall appoint additional directors not to exceed 8 to serve one year terms . .Directors to be appointed this year include Natural Resources, • Voter &iitor and Public Relations. ** Nominees to complete unexpired terms of elected officers who resigned. ************************************************************************* WHO'S WHO OF NE'W OFFICERS AND DIREC"TORS LEE BRENNAN has served the Salt Lake and Utah Leagues in many ways. She became president of the Utah League in 1971, served on state land use and taxation -study coomittees, and most recently mailaged League 1988 gubernatorial .debates. Lee was a State Tax Coomissioner and currently is division directo:r. for Salt Lake County, responsible for installing a computerized property··value appraisal system and reappraising property. She enjoys reading,.. gardening, and cross-country skiing in the mountains, and laments that ~he_: has "no time to do any of them!" NANCY MELLING has been in League since 1966, serving tirelessly as planning and zoning chair, treasurer and F.ducation Fund grant manager. A former math teacher, she enjoys tutoring. Nancy relaxes with tennis, hiking, backpacking, kayaking and reading. Nancy's family includes her husband, two college age children, and a remarkable dog named Annie. -8- LWVSL 4/89 |
