Last spring the Government-Business Alliance recommended that a change in county govermnent (with a county council and an executive) be placed on the 1986 general election ballot. The county commissioners declined because they wanted to study consolidation again. Another camdttee to study county goverrnnent reorganization was aPIX)inted before Coomissioner David Watson took office in January. Despite our long involvement in the issue of county government reorganization, the League has no voice in either cormnittee. Answer th·e foilm•,.,-ing questions .
