The excutive summary of the study is by Stephen J. Bahr, Fam i 1y and Demographic Research lntstitute, BYU. In conjunction with the results of this survey and presentation of tr1e evaluation, a Forum will be held on 11arch 12 at the University of Utah. Both morning and afternoon sessions will be open to the public and be televised by KUED for video distribution to all schools in the state interested in classroom discussion. Also, a curriculum will be developed to accompany the video tape. This has been an extremely exciting project for me to work on. The Kidspe3k Board hes an impressive cross-sampling of leaders from our state including several high school students. The r-esu1ts of the survey have been very interesting; sometimes encourg~ging, and other times a little scary. I have written this minimal background of the project in the hope that some of you might be interested in reading the Evaluation, or attending trie Forum. H1erefore I am issuing an open invitation to any of you that might be interested. ~arm~ !PJ[E~~ !F~lRHLDu,1 March 12, 1988 Saltair Room, University of Utah Union Building Morning session from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with Fred Friendly, former president of CBS News.
