Palpi upturned, slender, reaching vertex of head and held well in front of frons, which is smooth ; antennae of male almost simple; mid tibiae thickly fringed with scales; hind tibiae with a slight tuft of hair from base. Fore wing wdth the costa arched at base, then straight, the apex rectangular; male wdth some rough scales in cell below; the cell short and narrow; veins 2, 3 from near angle ; 5 from above angle ; 6 from below upper angle; 7, 8, 9 stalked; 10, 11 absent.
