Lophopleura, Eag. Ann. Soc. Ent. Fr. 1890, p. 506. Palpi porrect, straight, thickly scaled, and extending slightly beyond the frons, which has a large tuft of hair ; antennas of male ciliated; tibiae slightly fringed with hair on outer side. Fore wing of male wdth a glandular swelling at base of costa below fringed with long hair; a fringe of hair on median nervure; the apex rounded ; veins 3, 4, 5 stalked ; 6 from upper angle ; 9 absent; 10 from angle; 11 absent.
