A single specimen, 165 millim. long, from Tomohon, has been referred to this species by Dr. Midler, and there can be no doubt his identification is correct. The species was previously known from Java and Ternate. I cannot help thinking that Peters's T. conradti, from North Celebes, is based on a specimen of this species in which the division of the praeocular shield has been overlooked. BoiDcE. 39.
