" These animals bite severely, and are generally brought in with their incisors broken."-A. W. In some respects these animals differ from the ordinary Nyasan M argenteocinereus, as Mr. Whyte has noticed, and approach the East-African M. albifrons, but without further and better material it would be impossible to separate them definitely. 51.
