Wetherill- D WINSLOW WETHERILL, a witness of lawful age, called by and on behalf of the complainant, having been first duly sworn according to law by the Special Master, was examined and testified as follows: DIRETC EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name to the court, please? A Winslow Wetherill. Q Where do you live, Mr. Wetherill? A Farmington, New Mexico. Q What relation are you to the witness who just left the stand? A Younger brother. Q How old a man are you? A I was born in 1871, July 31st. Q Are you familiar with the country in and around the San Juan river? A From Bluff up, yes. Q That is, from Bluff to Farmington? A Yes, and from Farmington up the river as far as Blanco; then I have been on the river several places on up pretty near to the head of it. Q Have you been on the river below Bluff? |
