BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name, please? A Louisa Wade Wetherill. Q Whereabouts do you live, Mrs. Wetherill? A At Kayenta, Arizona. Q What relation are you to Mr. John Wetherill? A I am Mr. John Wetherill's wife. Q How long have you lived in the San Juan country? A My folks came from Nevada and Colorado and crossed the San Juan in 1880. Q At what place did you settle? A We settled at Mancos, Colorado. Q Have you ever been down to Bluff, Utah? A Good many times. Q Are you familiar with the San Juan river from Farmington down to Bluff, Utah? A I am pretty familiar with it; I have crossed it something like two hundred times. |
