Show 3666 Hyde- D 1688 A Not all the way; you have to cut around and head little gulches that runs in, and back and forth. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q How far is that? A From Moonlight canyon, I don't know exactly, possibly ten miles, more or less, BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q How far is Zahn's from the mouth of the San Juan river? A I was never to the mouth of the river but once; pretty hard for me to state just how far it is, and it has been a long while ago. Q Have you ever observed the San Juan river during low water? A Yes sir. Q And at what points? A Well, at many points; mouth of the Montezuma, at Bluff, Mexican Hat, Comb wash, mouth of Moonlight canyon, and down at Zahn's. Q What is the appearance of that stream at low water with reference to width and depth of water? A Of course it varies. MR. FARNSWORTH: At the points where he saw it. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Yes. MR. BLACKMAR: Sure; that is all I am asking him. |
