BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name to the court, please. A Clinton Neal Cotton. Q Where do you live? A Gallup, New Mexico. Q How long have you lived in Gallup? A I have lived there forty years -- nearly forty years. I have lived on the Navajo reservation at Genavo ten years. That is not exact, you understand -- some few months. Q How old a man are you, Mr. Cotton? A Over seventy. Q What sections of the San Juan river are you familiar with? A Why, only about fifty miles from Shiprock to Blanco. I am not very familiar with it. I have driven by it, you understand, that is all. Q Have you seen that section of the river off and on during these forty years you have been in the country? |
