Q Do you know how that boiler, engine and pump were brought in? A Yes sir. Q How were they brought in? A Brought in by wagon. Q From where? A Came through Bluff; I don't know where they loaded it, possibly at Mancos or Durango, but they brought it through Bluff; I went down with them at the time; I left Bluff along with them until it was landed at the mouth of Moonlight canyon. Q You went down the old Mormon trail to Comb wash? A Yes sir, the mouth of Chinle, crossed the river, forded the river and went down on the south side of the river and around to Moonlight canyon, to the mouth of that canyon, Oljato, it is called, the Navajo name for it. Q Could you recall about what year that was? A Let's see, I will have to think; it would say it was about 1895, approximately that time; I can't say for sure.
