They camped a little below where we met Rowell; Powell came up on t he west side of the river two or three miles from where he had camped to where we had camped, and one of the Hamblins came with him, and we took him on the boat to take him down to their camp, and there were some riffles in between; he was quite startled at going through this terrible water. MR. FARNSWORTH: We move to strike that out as a conclusion of the witness, irrelevant and immaterial whether he was scared or not.
