The witness has not testified to anything of that kind, yes it is getting it into the record, then asking if he can locate it. Now, I don't think this witness has shown an indication of falling memory. He is a man of exceptional intelligence, and I do not think there is anything that indicates that he need his recollection refreshed with reference to any difficulties or obstructions to navigation. THE SPECIAL MASTER: Mr. Blackmar simply asked the witness whether he could locate a certain point. I assume he is going on and question him about that. I should think your objection would come on his subsequent questions. He is merely trying to get him, now, to locate a particular point. I assume he is going to then question him about that point. MR. FARNSWORTH: Of course the basis of my objection, the particular thing that I must object to in the question, is reading into the record extracts from this book.
