Head and thorax pale grey, mottled with darker grey and fuscous ; abdomen dull fuscous above, pale ochreous grey, almost whitish, beneath ; palpi fuscous, with the apex of the second joint and the underneath parts pale grey. Expanse of wings 70 millim. In this case also, from a comparison of six good specimens in the Hocking Collection, Mr. Butler ha3 come to the conclusion that the species is distinct both from C. patala, Felder, and C. jonasei, Butler.
