Show Blake- C 933 I would say five or six. How long did it take you to go from the town of Greenriver to Moab on that occasion? I don't remember that. Did you make any camp on the Green river? Yes sir. More than one night, or not? I think two nights or more. And on the Colorado, which was than the Grand, coming up how many nights did you camp there, if you recall? I don't remember; we camped, however. One or more nights you camped? More than one. Who were these other men that were on that trip with you and your father? I don't remember, except one old friend, a Mr. Johns, and another friend who was supposed to be an engineer, I believe, a Mr. Johnson; that is all I recall. Did you all sleep on the boat? No sir. It was a gasoline launch, I believe you said? Yes sir. What was the size of this launch, approximately? I think it was twenty- four or twenty- five feet long, with about a seven foot beam. 2903 |
