Show Prommel- D 998 MR. FARNSWORTH: I think he would state that separately. Let him state his examination. We run a traverse from the last known corner at Moab down the Colorado river to Kane creek canyon. We thence followed up Kane creek canyon with that traverse to Hunter canyon. We followed Hunter canyon up to the description of a place where another survey corner was supposed to be. We located the general locality of that corner, and we thence continued our survey up Kane springs amphitheater, across the divide between Kane springs and the Colorado river, down to the Colorado river. We run another traverse from the mouth of Kane springs over to Hurry- Up trail to the Colorado river. We thence run traverses and took sight shots along the Colorado river, on both sides of the river. We thence run the traverse down to Indian creek and part way up Indian creek, also taking sight shots and sight traverse to determine the attitude, the structural attitude of the formation with respect to possible anticlinal structure favorable for the accumulation of oil in commercial quantities. That was the object of the report. Now, did you also make an examination, that is, did you locate a well site down there -- drilling site? Yes sir. 2968 |
