A The Moab anticline is located directly at Moab, that is, the town of Moab lies about in the center of the Moab anticline. The Salt Valley anticline is located about eight miles southeast of Thompsons, and extends from there to the Colorado river above Moab. Q Did you cover that country personally? I did. Q About how many weeks or days were you in there? At that time we spent three months in there -- aporoximately three months in the field. Q Where were your headquaters? My headquarters was part of the time at Moab, but the major time that year in Salt Valley at an old drilling camp known as the Kendrick- Levi well, - near that well. Q Have you been back in that country since then? A Oh, yes; I returned in 1920, in the month of June, to take personal charge of a party which I had sent in in May, 1920, to make a detailed survey of what we knew as the Colorado river structures, or Colorado river anticlines, of which a |
