Thereafter I proceeded to Mexico, where I spent five years in mine superintendent work and mine examination work, metal mines. From there I entered Columbia University, spent several months at Columbia University; come west on mine investigation work, entered Denver University; made another trip on mine investigation work, a geological trip to South America, to the republics of Bolivia, Chile and Peru; returned and entered the Colorado School of Mines. That was about the time that the United states entered the world war. I was then employed as consulting geologist -- associate geologist with the engineering firm of Fisher & Lowry, Denver. I opened by own office in 1933 as consulting geologist and mining engineer. You are still engaged in your profession? Yes sir. Have you been in country in and about Moab, Utah? Yes sir, I have.
