Show Kolb- D 857 A I had previously made a trip in this came canoe down the river with another assistant, John Shield, but we had the boat hauled around Westwater canyon and put in at the Cisco pumping plant, and we continued on down to Moab. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q What year was this? A 1916. MR. BLACKMAR: Before we get into that, at this time, in connection with the second trip, from Greenriver, Utah, to Lee's Ferry, I desire to call attention to sheet 51 for the year 1921 in Exhibit 94. MR. FARNSWORTH: May I see that? MR. BLACKMAR: Yes. THE SPECIAL MASTER: In connection with that I would like to ask one question. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q The Escalante river flows all the year around, does it? A Yes. Q As far as you could observe? A Yes, but it is just a vary, very small stream. Q Small stream? A Yes. Warm creek was as big as the Escalante river. Q On the map it looks very important. I wanted to find out how much water it poured in in connection with these spring flows.
