PROMMEL, a witness of lawful age, called by and on behalf of the complainant, having been first duly sworn according to law by the Special Master, was examined and testified as follows: DIRECT EXAMINATION BY MR. BLACKMAR: Q Will you state your name, please, to the court? A Harold W. C. Prommel. Q And what is your age? A Forty- two. Q Where do you live? A In Denver, Colorado. Q Generally what has been your occupation and the scope of your education on since you have grown to manhood? A I have been a consulting geologist and mining engineer. I received my early schooling in Germany, Hamburg. Germany, in private schools, equal about to first year college in this country. Upon arriving at New York I stayed ten days, and went to South America, worked for two years on the Quito Railway in Ecuador, later on the Guayaquil South America Development Company. I then came to the United State to Cripple Creek, Colorado, where I worked as a miner, taking up at that time 2959 |
