A At the mouth of Bridge canyon, where the Rainbow bridge is located, about eight and a half miles, I think, below the San Juan, there is a rapid caused by the debris and detritus that is brought in from Bridge canyon. Q Any more? A There were riffles, but not rapids, places where the water would break up its speed, and where we could tell but the action of the water that it was comparatively shallow, but nothing that we would call rapids.
