Show Blake- D 895 A There was provisions brought to us by motor boat from Lee's Ferry. Q Where did you get those? A Somewhere just below the mouth of Aztec creek. Q When you got to Lee's Ferry, then where did you go? A That terminated that special trip as far as river work was concerned. We went to Flagstaff, and returned to our respective homes. Q You went overland to Flagstaff? A Overland by automobile. Q Then from Flagstaff? A By train. Q To where? A To Monticello, or to Thompson, Utah, and from Thompson to Monticello by stage. Q Do you know what became of the boats? A The boats were -- I don't know, except for one boat, the boat which the Chinoewith party left at the mouth of the San Juan for us was put in storage at Lee's Ferry, and was subsequently used through the Grand Canyon. Q Is that the only trip that you made on the San Juan? A Yes sir. Q Have you been on the Green river?
